E-Toll will take its toll

E-toll: If it's integrated, it will definitely take its toll on the hard-pressed motorists who are suffering daily from the effects of exorbitant fuel prices.

Bernard Segal writes;

IF e-tolling is implemented it will definitely take its toll on the hard-pressed motorists who are suffering daily from the effects of exorbitant fuel prices. What with the high cost of living and the demise of the rand? Is it any wonder that people are battling to survive? In bygone days the authorities used to send our special trucks operating at night to assess the damages from the potholes and then would tar the whole street with these special machines.

Not so in our days where pitch-patch jobs are the norm. The urban roads are always in disarray because of the sloppy workmanship.

Then again the robots in days gone by used to work efficiently, whereas the lights now are forever on the blink.

So much to be said for the inept powers that be, with scant regard in service and delivery for the masses at large.
