Manufacta power outage
Testing procedures are in progress and power should be restored shortly to Witpoortjie, Reefhaven, Lindhaven, Technikon, Roodepoort West, Grobler Park, Princess A.H and the surrounding areas.
At approximately 7.15pm City Power notified residents of a transformer that had tripped at the Manufacta Substation. At the time of the notice, technicians were on site and attending to the issue.
The tripped transformer has caused a loss of power to Reefhaven, Lindhaven, Technikon, Roodepoort West, Grobler Park, Princess A.H and the surrounding areas.
An update was given at approximately 8.40pm where the entity informed the affected residents that testing procedures were in progress and power should be restored shortly.
