WANTED: Florida Police seek information on female suspect

The suspect was accompanied by two males in a faded-yellow sedan

Florida Police have asked the public for assistance in locating a woman connected to a robbery which occurred in Goldman Street, Florida at approximately 11am on Friday, 18 October.

A woman had just finished withdrawing cash from an ATM when she was approached by the woman in question. It is alleged that the suspect placed a cloth over the nose and mouth of the victim who subsequently became dizzy. The victim was then taken to a field near Jerusalem informal settlement, tied up and robbed of cash, a wrist watch, wedding ring and personal belongings.

The suspect was wearing a pink top and a blue jeans skirt. She is believed to be in her late 40s, is short in stature and has burn marks on both sides of her face. She has short black hair and is predominately Sotho speaking, mixed with Zulu. She was allegedly accompanied by two black males who were driving a faded-yellow sedan of which the registration number is unknown.

It is believed that the suspects could be linked to similar incidents throughout Gauteng, so Police are appealing for any assistance. Should anyone have any information on these suspects, please contact detective Constable Phuti on 083 043 5830.
