Ebenezer House is hosting a crafts market with the aim of raising funds for the home, located at 7 Ham Street, Witpoortjie, from 10am until 2pm on 7 September.
This NPO, which started in 2005, is a home for people suffering from bi-polar disorder and schizophrenia. The members of the home attend arts and craft workshops during the day to help with their everyday life skills.
Although the home is subsidised by the government, the funds they receive are irregular, and the need for funds to sustain the home, which is based on two properties, is big.
