Ons Huis hosts picnic
At the end of the two-hour picnic, Marita van den Berg, the manager of Ons Huis, thanked everyone who attended the picnic.
On Saturday, 3 August, staff members of Residentia Ons Huis made it a point to dress to kill as they hosted a mother and daughter picnic.
The residents together with community members came out in their numbers and were treated to amazing food and drinks.
The theme of the picnic was ‘Alice in Wonderland’.
Esté Pienaar was the guest speaker, and motivated the residents of Ons Huis to make sure they live each day to its fullest.
She also shared some of her life stories, which had the attendees laughing.
At the end of the two-hour picnic, Marita van den Berg, the manager of Ons Huis, thanked everyone who attended the picnic.
“Thank you for all your support and coming out on this day. We really appreciate the support that you have shown us,” said Marita, who concluded by wishing the visitors well as they wended their varying ways home.
