Pals celebrate their good friendship
Pat Moodliar surprised Zac Grobler with a wonderful gift for his 82nd birthday which he celebrated on 15 May.
One of the founders of the Rainbow Samaritans, Pat Moodliar, recently put a smile on his long best friend, Zac Grobler, who also happens to be a founding member of the organisation.
Moodliar, surprised Grobler with a wonderful gift for his 82nd birthday which he celebrated on 15 May.
A creative Moodliar, enlarged a number of Grobler’s photos and put them on a frame as a gift for his buddy.
Grobler, who accepted the gesture with his wife, Huibie, expressed his gratuity to have a friend like Moodliar in his life. “I thank Pat for this beautiful present – it is highly appreciated. Pat and I have been friends for many years. We both started the Rainbow Samaritans, an organisation that intends to supply cancer caregivers with the support they might need; whether it be in a form of food parcels and other needs,” he said.
He also hailed Moodliar for always going out of his way to assist cancer survivors. “Pat is our champion. He finds and sponsor so much. He also assists patients with transport needs to get to and from hospital for their checkups,” Grobler explained.
