Team Rage does well at the SA Champs

Team Rage Kickboxing Club participated in the SA Kickboxing National Championships in Oudtshoorn in the Western Cape from 26 to 28 April, and did very well.

Club owner, Darin Opperman, said, “I am proud of my Club’s achievements at this year’s National Championships and am looking forward to many more”.

The top achievers for the Club were Dyllan Opperman and Nicole le Roux, who both won SA titles at the tournament.

Other achievers were Brandon-Lee Friedlander (two second places), Mina Lombaard (two third places and one second place) and Darin himself (a second place).

It was the first time in 16 years that Darin had participated in a competition and he said he was hoping this would inspire his fighters to become national champs. “Our next assignment is the Arnold Classics where I am hoping we will kick ‘butt’,” said a very motivated Darin.
