Due to stormy weather being predicted for Saturday, 20 October, the City has taken the decision to postpone the upcoming A Re Sebetseng clean-up.

The next clean-up will take place on Saturday, 27 October, from 9am to 1pm. The clean-up will take place on Eeufees Avenue and Riethaan Street in Florida Lake, next to the Bird Sanctuary.

A Re Sebetseng encourages all residents to take ownership of their environment by helping to creating cleaner and more connected communities.

“We encourage all our residents to take part in the clean-up, where they will stand a chance to earn tickets to the Global Citizens Festival: Mandela 100,” Ward 84 councillor, Gert Niemand said.

The City apologises for any inconvenience caused as a result of the postponement.
