Pedestrian in critical condition after collision
Local authorities to investigate incident.
A man, believed to be in his 20s, was left critically injured when he was hit by a light motor vehicle on Dobsonville Road in Roodepoort.
ER24 paramedics arrived on the scene shortly after 7pm last night (30 September) to find a man lying on the side of the road. A light motor vehicle was found parked on the side of the road some distance away.
Paramedics assessed the man and found that he had sustained numerous injuries and was in a critical condition.
The man was treated for his injuries and provided with advanced life support interventions before he was transported to Life Flora for further treatment.
The details surrounding this incident are not yet known but local authorities were on the scene for further investigations.
