Lipizzaners set to dazzle at Easter Show

The South African Lipizzaners will be hosting a special Easter Show, and are inviting the community to attend.

“The Lipizzaners are a national treasure which we are constantly striving to preserve, in fact the South African Lipizzaners, which are our current performing horses, are descendants of the first batch of horses that were brought to South Africa 70 years ago, having escaped from the approaching Russian Army in Hungary. Everyone should have seeing the SA Lipizzaners performing on their bucket list,” said Irene Polchet, a volunteer at the SA Lipizzaners.

The show will be taking place on 1 April at the Lipizzaner Centre, no 1 Dahlia Road, Kyalami from 10.30am. Tickets cost R200 for adults and R150 for children (under 12) and pensioners. Tickets are available from Computicket (https://www.computicket.com).

Food and refreshments will be on sale from the Cafe Capriole, on site.
