CKPS hosts succesful West Rand gala

Six schools compete in swim gala

 

Six schools participated in the annual West Rand Gala, which was hosted by Constantia Kloof Primary School (CKPS) recently.

Swimmers from Maragon Private School Ruimsig, Trinityhouse Little Falls, Charterhouse Private School, Monument Primary School, St Catherine’s Convent and CKPS competed for the number one spot.

Each swimmer scored points for their school, and swimmers from U/8 to U/13 competed in their different disciplines, including butterfly, freestyle, breaststroke and backstroke.The day’s activities were concluded with all swimmers competing in freestyle, as well as mixed medley relays.

The winners on the day were Monument Primary, with Trinityhouse in second place, Maragon Private School Ruimsig in third place, Charterhouse Private School in fourth place, CKPS in fifth place and St Catherine’s Convent in sixth place.
