Florida Block Watch hosting a fundraising event

The Florida Blockwatch will be hosting a fundraising day and is urging the community to support them.

The Hoo Hoo Fest will take place on 24 March from 9am at Trezona Park on the corner of Jan Smuts Drive and Jan Hofmeyr Avenue, Florida Park and there will be something for everyone’s taste.

Confirmed activities for the day include a Parker bike run, beer tent, colour fest, big children’s play area, live music (DJ Ossewa, Bibi, Gert Koevert, Die Wolwedans, Saarkie and many more).

There will also be a variety of food stalls ranging from chicken wings and eisbeins to burgers, cone pizzas and curry (to name a few). Those with a sweet tooth will be able to enjoy malva pudding, cakes and cupcakes. And for the thirsty ones, there will be coffee, milkshakes, bubble tea and slushies.

Products that will be on sale range from crazy crafts and cleaning products to Tupperware, make-up, jewellery and many more.

Tickets cost R20 per person, but children under 12 pay no entry fee. For more information or to book a stall, contact Leandra on 082 451 4548 or send an email to leandra@leandrarealestate.co.za.
