Could JMPD remove the reckless drivers?

Princess Crossing informal settlement erupted into rioting some time early this morning. Roads full of burnt tyres and rocks. A large goods truck burnt out just outside the new Sunrise Factory shop. I think they are rioting because some people drive like idiots on that road….

Traffic is often backed up and slow heading to Westgate in the morning. Some drivers think its okay to then bypass all the others by riding on the wrong side of the road … actually speeding! On 19 February, a person was knocked over near the pedestrian crossing by four young males in an olive green/ brown Polo V16 type car because of this reckless “me first” attitude.

The driver did stop and the victim stood up … but this has got to stop. There are many children crossing that road and next time it might be fatal. Could JMPD perhaps be stationed along that road, especially in the mornings, to stop this and remove those reckless drivers and their vehicles from our roads?
