Animal Samaritans fall prey to armed robbery

Twelve suspects overpowered security guard.

Community Led Animal Welfare (Claw) was robbed this morning at about 2am.

Twelve armed individuals allegedly took the burglar gates off their hinges and overpowered the security guard. They then proceeded to steal the solar panels. This is not the first time the solar panels have been targeted.

The organisation is now urgently appealing to the public for assistance. They urgently need new burglar gates and solar panels since the panels supply the power for fridges, deep freezes and running water into the clinic.

If anyone can assist, they can reach Claw on 082 871 9774.
