Watch: Brazen robbers hit cellphone shop in Westgate
Robbers loaded loot into shopping trolley.
At about 1.35pm this past Sunday (4 February) 10 robbers struck at PK Cellular in Westgate Shopping Centre.
According to an employee, Hussain Hussain the 10, which included a female, entered the shop pretending to be shoppers but things went pear-shaped quickly when some of them pulled out firearms and ordered the four employees in the store to lie on the floor. They then stole cash, laptops, cellphones and tablets, which they loaded into a shopping trolley before fleeing.

According to another source their two getaway vehicles, a grey VW Polo and a red Mini Cooper were waiting outside Entrance 2. Before speeding off they fired one warning shot when they realised security personnel were following them.
Westgate Shopping Centre management will comment soon.
