Police respond to complaint about brazen drug dealer

Complainant was told the whole community must lay charges.

Roodepoort Police have responded to Roodepoort North residents’ complaints about a brazen drug dealer in a gold-coloured Opel Corsa who goes about his criminal ways without scruples.

The residents around Third Avenue and Third Street said the dealer who was usually seen driving the vehicle in question nowadays plies his trade on a white scooter. When one resident had had enough and went to Roodepoort Police Station he was allegedly told that they could do nothing unless the whole community made affidavits.
