The councillor for ward 71, René Benjamin, will be hosting an arts and culture festival, and is inviting community members to enter. “The festival will be taking place on 17 February at the Witpoortjie Community Centre at 9am. Entrance to this event is free,” she said.
The festival will consist of theatre groups, dance groups, music performances, reciting of poetry and much more.
All you need to do to enter is send an email to festivalw71@gmail.com or an sms to 072 263 6496 (use festival and your name as keyword).
Entries close on 31 January. Entrants need to be at least 13 years old.
