Help police find rape suspects

The Johannesburg West Cluster has asked the community to assist them to find the perpetrators wanted for crimes they committed in the Roodepoort and Douglasdale areas.

 

The identikit pictures of two rape perpetrators have been issued to alert the public as police continue with their attempts to nab these wrongdoers.

The Johannesburg West Cluster has asked the community to assist the police in finding the wanted perpetrators for crimes they committed in the Roodepoort and Douglasdale areas.

The first inividual is wanted for rape by Roodepoort Police Station. He is an African, dark in complexion, tall, with brown eyes, speaks IsiZulu and is between the ages of 31 and 35.

This man has been sought since July. He is wanted for orchestrating and taking part in the rape of a woman whom he and his accomplices forced into a navy-blue BMW sedan in Helderkruin. They blindfolded and tied her and took her to an unknown place where she was raped several times.

The second person is wanted for a robbery and rape incident which took place under a bridge on Malibongwe Drive. He is believed to be between the ages of 21 and 25, slender built, speaks IsiZulu, wears an earring in his left ear, travels on foot and uses a knife to threaten and scare his victims.

The female victims, who were coming from work, were approached by the perpetrators, who were armed with knives and one firearm. The victims were robbed of their clothes and a cellphone before being raped.

This person has also been wanted since July.
