City Power has announced that there will be a planned power outage from 10pm tonight (25 October) to 6am tomorrow morning (26 October), in the following areas:
• Allen’s Nek
• Glen Dayson AH
• Honeydew Manor
• Honeydew Ridge
• Weltevreden Park
• Wilgeheuwel
• Radiokop
• Strubens Valley
• Little Falls
According to City Power, the interruption is necessary to perform essential maintenance on the network, and is part of their programme to constantly strive towards better service delivery.
Residents are urged to treat their electricity supply points as live at all time, as the electricity can be restored at any time, without prior warning.
City Power regrets any inconvenience caused by this interruption and urges customers who need more information to contact the call centre on 0860 562 874.
