Helping others to uplift themselves

Anyone can be successful

“I believe that we are supposed to help each other, and that is why I want to share my knowledge – to help others to uplift themselves,” said Harry Heydon.

The 68-year-old Florida resident has been involved in internet entrepreneurship for almost nine years, and feels that it is time to give back. “After nine years of collecting an abundance of experience and knowledge on how to make money online and three awards later, I want to help others to learn and succeed without the necessity of trial and error,” he said.

Harry added that eight years ago, he did not know a lot about the internet and how to use it. “Cyberspace and outer space were the same to me, and my wife taught me how to type!” he said laughingly.

He decided to do research on online businesses and how to make money by using the internet, and in the process he created successful business and internet systems. “I have been involved with non-governmental organisations before and know that school leavers do not have much chance of finding employment. That is why I want to help them to start their own online businesses to be able to provide for themselves and their needs,” he said.

The systems Harry has developed can be used from as young as 15 years old. “You can start your own online business when you are 15. This will allow you to grow your business and by the time you finish school, you will have made enough money for tertiary education or for whatever you need,” said Harry.

Harry’s objective is to create a School Business Club that can expand to change the lives and future of many young people. “I offer my services to interested students, parents and schools for free, and would be happy to provide an obligation-free presentation on request. I also offer access to more than R23 000 worth of educational and vocational education programs,” he said.

He added that he believes he has an obligation to give back to the community. “I believe that we are supposed to help each other, and that is why I want to share my knowledge – to help others to uplift themselves. In South Africa, we do not have enough entrepreneurs, or the facilities for them, and I believe this is the future,” said Harry.
