Water outages due to maintenance
Residents of Florida, Witpoortjie and Princess should prepare for planned water outages that will leave them without water for approximately 12 hours.
Johannesburg Water (JW) will be conducting maintenance on the water towers and will need to close off the water supply to residents on 19 and 20 July.
Residents will be affected as follows:
– All streets in Florida North, Florida Extension 3, Florida Hills and Florida View will have no water from 8 pm on 19 July to 5am on 20 July. Restoration of water supply will take place between 5am and 8am. This is due to maintenance being conducted at the Florida North water tower.
– All streets in Witpoortjie and Princess will have no water from 8pm on 20 July to 5am on 21 July. Restoration of water supply will take place between 5am and 8am on 21 July. This is due to maintenance being conducted at the Witpoortjie water tower.
