Police hunt for suspects after business robbery

Four suspects commit robbery at a filling station

Police are still on the hunt for four men who robbed a Caltex filling station on Albertina Sisulu Road in Hamberg this past weekend. The incident occurred on Sunday at about 6.45pm.

According to Florida Police spokesperson Captain Lydia Dikolomela, two of the robbers stood at the door of the convenience store at the filling station while the other two approached the cashier.

“The two men were armed and told the cashier to stay still. They told her to take out money from the cash register.

However, they changed their minds and forced the cash register open themselves, taking an undisclosed amount of money.”
