Mixed results for Prestige
Prestige Football Development Academy played their away matches against Diaspora Football Academy last weekend.
The fixtures were part of the Johannesburg Football League, a development league which seeks to grow talented teams and players in a competitive environment. In the U/13 category, Prestige could only manage a one-all draw. In the U/15 match, the Prestige team suffered a hammering, losing 4–2 in a tough match.
The U/17 match was even tougher, with plenty of goals but Prestige had to settle for a 3- all draw. In the last match of the day, the U/19s were victorious, beating their Diaspora counterparts 2–1.
The teams will be looking to improve as they head to this weekend’s fixtures in their bid to win the league.
