Police arrest teenage housebreaking suspects
The two will appear in the Roodepoort Magistrates' Court soon.
Florida Police have arrested two 18-year-old female suspects after a security officer saw them climbing through a house’s window.
On Thursday, 16 February, at about 12.05pm, the officials from the Florida K9 Dog Unit attended to a complaint of housebreaking in Coronation Street. On their arrival they found a security official from Apcan Security guarding two females who were sitting on the sidewalk. The two suspects were allegedly seen climbing through a window of the house, and were found to be in possession of a portable stove, a heater, kettle, iron, and radio and a quantity of groceries.
They were arrested for housebreaking and theft and were taken to the Florida Police Station where they were detained. The two will appear in the Roodepoort Magistrates’ Court soon.
