Breaking: Serious accident on Nick Toomey Boulevard

An accident occurred on Nick Toomey Boulevard a short while ago (27 January).

At about 9.15am a bakkie was travelling in the direction of Roodepoort CBD when the driver lost control on the wet road and collided head-on with a truck travelling in the direction of Progress Road. The driver of the bakkie was allegedly seriously injured while two of the passengers in the truck sustained minor injuries.

Motorists are advised to avoid the road.
