Relax, the water will not be turned off today
It's an old notice, says Joburg Water.
Residents were frantic after a Joburg Water notice about planned water interruptions did the rounds on social media yesterday (22 January).
According to the notice the interruption would have been due to maintenance work at the Eikenhof pump station. But Joburg Water later apologised on their Twitter account, saying a notice from January 2015 was accidentally sent out.
