National Bubble Bath Day

Give your self some TLC and relax in a soapy bubble bath on #NationalBubbleBathDay

National Bubble Bath Day is celebrated annually on 8 January and reminds us to take some time out of our busy schedules and treat ourselves to some tender loving care.

The scent of that first bubble bath is usually associated with warmth, comfort and safety. What better way to pamper yourself than with rich bubbles, beautiful candles, quiet music and a little time to relax?

Bubble baths have been popular for as long as baths with a foaming liquid have been a thing and there are many practical uses for them – ranging from the unexpected to those that have not been thought of. The most popular benefit of a bubble bath is its ability to soothe and relax. But there are much more interesting reasons behind this foaming bath agent’s popularity.

Bubbles help to remove and prevent the nasty ring that usually forms around your bathtub, ensuring a much cleaner bathtub and a much cleaner you! In addition to this, it effectively preserves one’s modesty while in the bath with the bubbles preventing curious eyes from seeing too much. The bubbles also act as an insulator, keeping your bath water warmer for longer, allowing you to enjoy your alone time for longer.

Generally, bubble bath substances are often pleasantly scented and most of them are combined with ingredients that help to moisturise the skin and relax the bather.

To celebrate National Bubble Bath Day is very easy – just pamper yourself in a long, luxurious, scent-rich bubble bath. Combine this with some scented candles, body oils, your favourite music and a good book, and feel the day’s stress draining from your body.
