Drivers get physical after baby is injured

Yesterday (2 January) at about 4.45pm an accident occurred on the corner of Albertina Sisulu Road and Generaal Pienaar Avenue in which a three-week-old baby was injured.

According to the source one of the vehicles allegedly left the scene but later returned. A physical altercation then ensued between the two drivers. The source also alleged the baby was not buckled into a baby car seat.

Both the police and Metro Police were called but neither arrived.

The baby was taken to hospital by a private ambulance service.
