Breaking! Same vehicle involved in another armed robbery in Helderkruin

It has been confirmed that one of the vehicles involved in this morning’s armed robbery was involved in another house breaking at around 2pm (5 December).

The housebreaking took place on Foxglove Avenue, not far from this morning’s incident on Gail Street where about eight suspects committed the armed robbery before fleeing in a white VW Polo and a Jetta. Two fled on foot and one was arrested.

It was confirmed by eyewitnesses that the registration of the VW Jetta matched that of the one used in the armed robbery earlier.
