Update: Dead baby found on sidewalk
Members of the public made the gruesome discovery.
Eyewitnesses have told police that the dead baby that was found about an hour ago, was dropped off by persons in a white Nissan Hardbody with a grey roll bar, and a gray Golf GTI.
It has also now been established that it was a white female with blue eyes.
The body was found on the sidewalk at the corner of Vaal and Coetzee Avenues in Roodepoort West.
Two members of the public made the gruesome discovery. The body, in the early stages of decomposition, was found in a black plastic bag.
Police and Forensic Pathology Services are currently on the scene.
Roodepoort West Neighbourhood Watch also attended to the scene.
