Project Ou Toppie needs your help

Ou Toppie project nearing its end

It has been more than a month since the launch of the Ou Toppie Project and things are proceeding smoothly.

Since then, almost 100 Ou Toppie bags have been delivered to the Record’s offices. Now the project is heading towards the home straight as the last day for the community to assist those who are in need is 18 November. With the biker and sports community already having pledged their support, the Record asks the community to continue supporting the project and make up a small gift bag.

The bag should contain a facecloth, soap, ear buds, a razor blade and disposable razors, toothbrush, toothpaste and deodorant. The items can then be put into a gift bag and delivered to the Record’s offices at the corner of Ham Street and Generaal Pienaar Avenue.

The gift bags will be delivered to identified old age homes in Roodepoort with the help of Dorcas Aid. No cash will be accepted.
