23 October is National iPod Day – specially created to celebrate the change it brought to our way of listening to music.
The first Apple iPod was sold on 10 November 2001 for $399 – approximately R5 542!
The iPod’s groundbreaking technology impacted many people – it changed the way we purchase and listen to music forever! National IPod Day was created to recognise this achievement and celebrate it annually.
It is also the perfect day to remember Apple’s co-founder, chairman and CEO Steve Jobs.
To celebrate today, get your iPod, download a few of your favourite and some new songs, and enjoy listening to them.
