Reward: Guard nearly kidnapped after car stolen

A security guard claimed four suspects attempted to kidnap him as they brazenly drove out of the Linde Lane complex in Van de Linde Road in a stolen vehicle – but he managed to run away.

The incident took place at 4am on Thursday (29 September). Lesley Middle, the owner of the 2005 red VW Polo 1.4 is offering a reward of R1 000 for any information that will lead to an arrest. The vehicle’s registration number is CJ54NM GP.
