Lamppost issue will be resolved

City Power promises to repair fallen lamppost

While driving down Trezona Avenue you might have noticed something out of the ordinary with a lamppost on the corner of Stumke Street.

For the past three weeks this lamppost has been lying on the sidewalk. It seems to have been involved in a collision with a motor vehicle, with the lamppost coming off second best.

The matter was reported to City Power and according to Hloni Motloung, the entity’s spokesperson it will be fixed as soon as possible. “A team has already been assigned to attend to it,” Motloung said.

He also said residents should not hesitate to report these matters, otherwise City Power would not know about the problem to attend to it.
