National Just Because Day
Do something out of the ordinary today. Why? Just because!
On 27 August feel free to celebrate any way you choose as it is National Just Because Day.
We all do things that are required from us on a daily basis, but today this does not apply.
You have a chance to do something you really want to do, and not have to, just because.
National Just Because Day was created in the late 1950’s by a Californian named Joseph J Goodwin. What was originally intended to be a family holiday has grown into a annual celebration across the globe.
Some just because things to do today, include:
-Buy the outfit at the mall you have been admiring forever.
– Use a vacation day and go fishing.
– Pay the bill at the table next to yours at mall
– Sing your favourite song at the top of your voice while you are alone in your car with your windows rolled down.
Celebrate today by doing something different and out of the ordinary. Do something you want and not because you have to, because this is what National Just Because Day is all about.
