with honey and thyme. Charles Finlay, store manager of Food Lover’s Market Westgate, shares some tips on the best ways to keep carrots tasty, fresh and crunchy for longer.

• Wash carrots, cut off the tops and store in the refrigerator to ensure longevity.

• Store carrots in a plastic bag to stay crispy longer.

• If the carrots appear to go off, they can be restored to crispness by soaking them in cold water.
