On Saturday (16 July) children from various care facilities were the guests of the Roodepoort Theatre, in conjunction with City of Johannesburg and Alexander Harvest Time Foundation (Hearts to Serve Ministry).
This fun day was part of a Mandela Day initiative.
The children came from different homes in Kagiso (organised by Pastor Idea from Kagiso), Sparrow Village and Rugby Club Jerusalem (accompanied by Florida Police).
The day was filled with fun activities ranging from jumping castles, face painting, arts and crafts, and cupcake decorating.
The children were also spoiled with tasty treats and The Magic Toy Box dancers entertained everyone on the day.
