Update: Bright mom finally home

Marilize is home after 10 weeks.

Marilize Bright, 34, who was seriously injured along with her children during a botched hijacking, has finally been discharged after spending 10 weeks in hospital.

According to her husband Eugene, she still has trouble walking, gets tired quickly and is wearing a neck brace. She is also very emotional.

Marilize thanked the community on her Facebook page for their support and prayers. She also thanked her friends, family and God. “Miracles truly exist,” she wrote.
