High school boy stabbed nine times

Uncertain what argument was about.

At about 11.45am on Wednesday 22 June, a high school boy was stabbed nine times by a fellow pupil.

An argument allegedly ensued between five boys at the bus stop on the corner of Haynes Street and Generaal Pienaar Avenue. The argument escalated as they walked towards the Witpoortjie Pick n Pay circle. Near the circle, one of the boys drew a knife and stabbed the victim nine times. It is uncertain what the argument was about.

According to the eye witnesses on the scene, the pupils were from a high school close to where the incident took place.

The boy was taken to hospital. No arrests have yet been made.

West Suburbs Roodepoort Neighbourhood Watch (WSRNW) secured the scene.
