A forever home please

All they want is love and food

The Roodepoort SPCA is in desperate need of cat and dog food and since winter has arrived, they would also need blankets, old carpets or mattresses to keep the residents warm.

According to the manager of the SPCA, Mandy Cattanach, they have reached the bottom of the food barrel. “We don’t have any food left to give,” she pleaded.

She wants to remind the community to adopt, rather that shop. “Before the dogs or cats leave, a home check will be done. The animals are all sterilised and dewormed and ready for their forever homes.”

For more information, call the SPCA on 011 672 0448.
