Catch some butterflies at Kloofendal

Catch butterflies at Kloofendal Nature Reserve this weekend

The Kloofendal Nature Reserve will be offering a chance to walk around the reserve and catch butterflies.

The walk will be guided by Grant Egen who has an outstanding knowledge of butterflies and birds.

He is also responsible for the extensive collection of butterflies and moths at Kloofendal’s display centre.

Participants will go out with nets and sample jars supplied by Friends of Kloofendal and catch butterflies and other little creatures.

They will admire them and let Egen identify them and then release them at the end of the walk.

The activity will be on Sunday 17 April from 9am to 11am. Adults are charged at R 60 while children are R 40.

Pensioners are priced at R50.
