An exciting opportunity for adult learners has opened up.
The Quellerina School for Adult Learners gives adults the opportunity to pass school grades and attain skills on which they might have missed out before.
Levels 1 to 3 are similar to primary school education and teach learners basic skills such as reading and writing. Level 4 is similar to Grade 9, and Level 5 is similar to matric.
The teaching staff are from the Morakapula Santho Community Learning Centre, which falls under the Department of Higher Education and Training (DHET). The qualifications learners obtain are issued by DHET. There are no costs involved for the first four levels and minimal costs are charged for Level 5.
Registration is open until 31 January. The classes are from 6pm to 8pm at the NG Kerk Quellerina, 81 Lange Avenue,
