Man missing since New Year’s Day

Known to drive a grey or blue Jeep Cherokee.

40-year-old Andrew ‘Drew’ Corthing has been missing from the Helderkruin area since New Year’s Day, according to the People Search and Rescue Unit (Psaru).

The organisation has been spreading flyers with details of Corthing on social media and in local groups. The Krugersdorp CPF Sector 4 have also been assisting in the circulation of the flyer, but no details as to his whereabouts have come to light to date.

Corthing has short, brown and curly hair and brown eyes, weighs around 81kg and was last seen wearing an orange T-shirt, three-quarter jeans and black shoes. He drives a dark blue or grey Jeep Cherokee with the registration number RGD 253 GP.

The Record has not yet been able to get in contact with his family or loved ones.

He was reported missing to the Honeydew Police and the correlating case number is OB 213/01/2016.

Residents who have seen him or know of his whereabouts are urged to contact the Honeydew Police on 011 801 8400 or Psaru on 0860 287 223.
