Ex Sascoc, ASA boss killed

Shot and killed in his Ruimsig home.

A Former South African Sports Confederation and Olympic Committee and Athletics South Africa chief executive officer, Banele Sindani, was shot and killed at his Ruimsig home at 2am today.

According to Cap Karen Jacobs, spokesperson for Honeydew police, Sindane, 60 was shot during a burglary in his home.

Jacobs said the police is currently at the crime scene and although they don’t have much information at the moment, they will keep the Record updated as it unfolds.
