Community ‘terrorist’ caught

Suspect found in Kagiso.

Last Thursday the Roodepoort Police Investigating Unit conducted a special operation targeting a suspect who was wanted for committing various serious crimes.

The wanted suspect was arrested at Ebumnandini in Kagiso. The 25-year-old man had been terrorising this community for a while and even threatened to kill police members should they try to apprehend him.

He was also linked with other cases at Kagiso Police Station and Krugersdorp Police Station but the community was too afraid to report him. The police has urged communities who have more information on the suspect, nicknamed ‘Mandela’, to please come forward.
