Techno geeks excel at Princess High

Package a success for Princess High School pupils.

The grade 8 pupils of Princess High School brought glory to their school as they participated in the Gauteng Education Department’s Technology Exhibition.

In the recent event, the pupils were awarded first position in the Johannesburg West District rounds of the competition.

“The pupils had to create a package that was able to keep products held inside safe and be durable enough during heavy impact. In response to the challenge, the pupils created a fruit package,” said their teacher Puseletso Mojaji.

The success of the package gave the pupils an opportunity to showcase their creation at the provincial level exhibition held in Bronkhorspruit.

At the exhibition, they were competing against various other schools from around the province and managed to be awarded sixth position.
