SAWS issues hail storm warning
Residents to take precautions with property and pets.
The South African Weather Service (SAWS) has issued a serious warning of possible thunder and hail storms during the day.
According to AccuWeather the chances of these storms are above 50 per cent and they are expected to take place between 10am and 3pm. This follows severe thunder and hail storms in the Limpopo Province this past weekend with hail as big as tennis balls.
Residents are advised to take the necessary precautions with their property and vehicles and not to forget about their furry friends.
