Honeydew Cluster’s best administrator
Florida Police Station is blessed with a dedicated administrator.
Behind every good police station and arresting officer is a dedicated administrative clerk in the information management centre.
Stationed at Florida Police Station, SAC Johan Kiewiet (44) was recently awarded the Administrative Employee of the Year at Level 1 to 7 at the Honeydew Cluster prestige awards. At his desk the station’s dockets are processed and added to the database. He also updates information and matches cases.
Kiewiet is a modest man that, when asked how he experienced receiving his first award in the cluster, simply told the Record “humbled”.
He’s been with the Florida Police Station for the past seven years and was stationed at Langlaagte Police Station for ten years before that.
Kiewiet said he’s biggest career goal is to one day become a chaplain at the station.
