This past Wednesday a blue City Golf the police were looking for led to the arrest of one suspect for the possession of drugs.
At about 9.30am members of the Florida Crime Prevention Unit were patrolling around Maraisburg area when they spotted a blue City Golf with three male occupants.
The police remembered that there was a lookout previously for a vehicle of a similar description for the suspicion that the occupants were involved in criminal activities.
The unit pulled it off the road at Du Plessis Street and asked for permission to conduct a search. They noticed that one of the occupants had something in his hand. When they checked they found a white powder suspected to be drugs in his left hand.
The suspect was arrested and detained at Roodepoort Police Station.
