A part of Kilburn Street at the corner of Swart Street was closed off this morning at around 7.30am due to an accident.
Two schoolboys in a hatchback and a police van collided but it is uncertain what led to the accident. According to an unofficial source the young driver is ironically the son of a previous head of the traffic department.
No one was injured in the accident.
